I'm Maddy and I write songs. Songwriting is who I am, and it has been since I was 13. I grew up in Toronto, Canada but I now live in Nashville - music city! When I was a teenager in Toronto I pursued a career as an artist there, and got to work with some amazing people, and put out a lot of music and videos, and grew a pretty awesome following online. But over time, I realized my true dream was not to be a "Star", but to be a successful songwriter - I want to be the person creating the "hits", not the one performing them. I'm at my happiest when I'm writing songs and building tracks in the studio, and collaborating with other talented music-makers. My dream is to make awesome music that you want to put on repeat, whether I'm the one singing it or not!!  ...Maybe one day that'll change, dreams tend to evolve as you get older, but for now, that's what I'm chasing... It hasn't been an easy path, but I've been blessed with many little victories along the way (you can see some of 'em below). If you want to follow my journey, catch me here on my site, and on FB and Instagram! And you can listen to my songs on the home page, on Soundcloud or Spotify !!!
